Volunteer Opportunities

WAHC is currently recruiting volunteers
Please Contact Fabiola at 905-522-3003 ext 21 for details

The Workers Arts and Heritage Centre relies on volunteers for many of its operations. In fact, donations of time are as important as donations of money. We can't make it without your support.
Although you might not think so, everyone has an important contribution to make -- students have their youthful enthusiasm, retired workers have their valuable experience, and others have their own unique contributions. Whether you have three hours a month to spare, or three hours a week, there's probably a volunteer position that is just right for you.

Check out all the opportunities listed below, then print up and fill in our Volunteer Application form and send it back to use, or drop it by the centre.

  • Administrative
  • Visitor Services (Front Desk/Gift Shop)
  • Special Events
  • Exhibit Installation and Maintenance/Building Maintenance
  • Archival/Collections
  • Docent/Interpreter

Thank you for considering spending some of your valuable time supporting the preservation and celebration of working class heritage. With your support, future generations will learn who built Canada.
